"I can feel the pressure"- Pressure by Paramore

Para o nosso primeiro post, escolhemos comentar uma notícia bastante triste. Os Paramore, separaram-se!

As verdadeiras razões ainda não são muito claras, mas os conflitos na banda, parecem ter começado. Tanto o Josh e o Zac, alegam que saíram da banda por causa de uma série de problemas que se agravaram com o tempo, enquanto que a Hayley, Jeremy e Taylor (o resto da banda) afirmam que foi porque "eles já não estavam no espírito" como antigamente.

Desde aí, os membros dos Paramore  parecem estar a "atacar-se" uns aos outros com diferentes versões da história. O resto da banda Paramore dizem no seu website, que "Há uns meses atrás, Josh e Zac informaram-nos que eles deixariam a banda depois do concerto em Orlando, no último domingo. Nenhum de nós ficou, realmente, chocado. Neste último ano não parecia que eles queriam continuar por cá."
Mas a história parece bastante diferente na perspectiva do Josh e do Zac, que dizem que esta banda sempre foi sobre a Hayley e não tanto sobre a banda. Devido a este sério problema e aos constantes desacordos, os rapazes dizem que "Hayley disse que este álbum reuniu-os como banda e que os fez crescer juntos, quando na realidade nós estávamos a separar-nos. De repente, a banda tinha-se separado em dois lados."
Não sabemos quem tem a razão, mas ou os irmãos tem uma grande imaginação ou então, os que eles dizem é, realmente verdade, ou pelo menos grande parte. Eles descreveram a história da banda até agora. É impossível uma história falsa ter tantos pormenores. Por isso, aqui está algo que eles disseram "A marca recebeu as demos regravadas e, mais uma vez, tentaram despedir toda a banda, dizendo que éramos terríveis. Felizmente, a Hayley e eu andávamos a escrever umas novas músicas juntos (Hallelujah, Here We Go Again) com as quais a marca estava bastante contente, isto actuou como uma alavanca para que a banda ficasse. A marca e a direcção, decidiram construir o caminho da nossa banda. Eles puseram a Hayley na Fueled By Ramen não deixando saber que ela também tinha um contrato assinado com a Atlantic. Durante esse tempo, nós questionava-mo-nos se éramos realmente uma banda, mas a Hayley continuava a insistir que éramos, apesar de sermos ignorados e "levados" pela marca."
Tentamos saber a história da banda através do site oficial, mas ficamos extremamente, diremos, "chocadas" pois parece que a banda só tem história depois do segundo álbum. Muito estranho! Afinal a banda começa só depois do segundo album? Essa é nova! No site, na  chamada "História" temos como primeiras frases, as seguintes: "Assim que os Paramore embarcam no melhor ano da sua carreira, parece não haver limites para o que eles podem conseguir. O segundo álbum da banda RIOT!, de 2007, vendeu mais de dois milhões de cópias em todo o mundo, o grupo foi nomeado para um Grammy Award em 2008 para "Melhor novo artista" e também o CD/DVD The Final Riot! ganhou o ouro."

Não nos interpretem mal, nós adoramos Paramore, e vamos continuar a adorar, apenas estamos tristes com a saída dos rapazes! Só queríamos saber os dois lados da história, não estamos a escolher nenhum dos dois, só nos parece é que um deles dá nos mais verdade que o outro.

For our first post, we choose to comment on a very sad news. Paramore have split up!
The real reasons aren't so clear yet, but the conflicts of the band seem to have just began. Both Josh and Zac claim they've quit the band for a serious of problems that came to get worse with the time, while Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor (rest of the band) state that it was because "they were not in the spirit" like in old times.
Ever since then, Paramore members seem to be "attacking" each other with the different versions of the story. The rest of Paramore band say on their website that "A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday. None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore."
But the story sounds really different from Josh and Zac's perspective, that talk about how this band has always been about Hayley and not so much about the band. Due to this serious problem and the constants desagreaments, the boys said that "Hayley claimed that this record reunited us as band and made us grow closer together, when in reality we were all growing further apart.Suddenly the band had spilt into two sides."
We don't know which one is telling the truth, but either the brothers have a great imagination or they are telling the truth, or at least, a parte of it. They describe the story of the band 'till our days. There's no way a fake story can have so many details. So, here's something that they said "The label received the rerecorded demos and once again tried to fire the entire band, saying we were terrible. Thankfully Hayley and I had been writing some new songs together (Hallelujah, Here We Go Again) that the label was pleased with so that acted as leverage for the band to stay. The label and management then decided to build our band up the grass-roots route. They put Hayley on Fueled by Ramen not making it known she was signed to Atlantic as well. All the while we still questioned whether or not we were an actual band, but Hayley continued to insist we were, despite our being ignored and pushed around by the label."

We tried to know the band history through their official website, but we got really, let's say, shocked because, it seemed like the band just has a history after the second album. Very weird! The band only starts after the second album? This is new! On their website, on their so called "History" the first sentences are: "As Paramore embark on the most successful year of their career, there seems to be no limit as to what they can accomplish. The band's last 2007 album RIOT! has sold over two million copies worldwide, the group was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2008 for "Best New Artist" and even their live CD/DVD The Final Riot! has gone gold."
Don't get us wrong, we love Paramore and were gonna still love, but were just sad because of the leaving of the boys! We just wanted to know both sides of the story, we're not choosing any side, we just think that a side gives more truth than the other!
